your eyes were fixed on the screen

scrawling through the varied scenes

you missed looking at the sunset

the most beautiful sunset

your heart ached

that was your daily nature escape

you had a deal with the sun and the clouds

to the sea, moon and the stars

never to look away when they appear

never to miss their beauty for ordinary news and scenes

to forever be in awe

when they appear and disappear

and in exchange,you'll be the truest you

your vision clear and your logic sound

but today you broke your oath 

and missed your luck

and looked away from the most beautiful dusk

for it would have inspired a thousand words

and helped you paint with the clearest of thoughts

instead you chose

the hustle and the bustle

the noise of the social world
